Our Mission Statement:     Knowing Christ    Sharing His Message      Growing in His Love

The Moravian Church began in 1457 in the provinces of Bohemia and Moravia which are now part of the Czech Republic.
In 1722 men and women settled in Saxony, Germany to build a small village.  From there they felt called by Jesus Christ to take the Gospel to new people.

Moravians founded Bethlehem, PA in 1741 as a mission to Native Americans.

When Egg Harbor City, NJ was organized in 1855 as a safe  community for German immigrants in a time of persecution, Moravians started the first congregation and built the first church building in the town.

The Egg Harbor City Moravian Church has faithfully served Jesus since 1859.  We host the Kitchen Door Food Pantry which is part of the Community Food Bank of Southern New Jersey.

Our Church School classes do not meet on Sundays in the summer.
     We have a Bible School August 21-25 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

Morning Worship meets at 10:30 AM  A childcare attendant is available.

Moravians believe in the Trinitarian God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We follow Jesus Christ to serve him where we are needed.
We are known for our Christmas Eve Candlelight services, our Easter Sunrise services,
our Daily Texts prayer book and our song services.
